Sheer Genius
Erika is an absolute and total genius! She's been hanging out with me while I'm working at the Databank, and I guess she noticed how much trouble I have staying focused and wanted to help.
She gave me this really adorable little alarm clock that has one of my favorite movie characters, Totoro, on it! Every 15 minutes, when it chimes, I can switch tasks, but I have to stay on task for those 15 minutes. Amazingly enough, it works really well! I even set it when I'm chatting with someone, and when it goes off I have to get back to work. It's much easier to stay focused knowing I can move onto to something else in 15 minutes. Like I said, total genius!

Wow!
Oh my gosh! Incredible news about capturing Ms. Information and Elvirus! Congrats, Cyber Defenders, great job!
I'm SO happy Ms. Information isn't out there tormenting people anymore. She tripped me up once and left a scar, I wonder how many other people she's hurt over the years. Well, we won't fall prey to your misinformation anymore, ha!

Sweets to the sweet
The boys are having a macho LAN party in the CyberPort this Friday. They were very sweet to invite us girls, but we're going to take over the Academy Lounge instead and play DDR and sing karaoke and eat desserts instead. (Of course we're sharing the desserts with the boys, but they'll have to come upstairs and get them!)
Yoko and I spent the afternoon in the kitchen making cupcakes for the party. She says that American desserts are much sweeter than Japanese desserts. She wants to show me how to make some of her favorites, too, so next month we're going to make mochi. I'm so excited!
