Not my Favorite Movie
So I went to see that.weird.sci-fi movie with Alan and Alexi the other day and honestly, I just don't get it. I mean, after you see the fifth alien's head explode in the vacuum of space, doesn't it start to get old? And besides that, Alan spent half the movie explaining the overly-complicated back story of all the characters. I guess it was sweet of him to try to get me involved.
I'm glad Erika isn't bitter about missing the movie. We were all talking about it at lunch the other day and instead of shying away from the conversation, she jumped right in! She must have read online spoilers about the movie because she talked about everything in detail. I hope she actually gets to see it soon.

I Think I Figured It Out!
I'm not sure if I want to post this, but.I think I solved my movie problem! While I was doing research for the work Dr. Keen gave me, I found a great Website that lets me download movies before they come out! And not just movies, either! Books, music, even video games, you can get pretty much anything you want from this site whenever you have spare time. The best part is it's totally free! I mean, the movie theater is so overpriced that I don't think they'll miss the cost of one ticket, right?
I emailed the owner of the site to ask him if it was legal and what he said made perfect sense. He wrote "If it be a worth-while movie, ye can always pay fer it later. Why risk good doubloons on a movie ye might not like?" His word choice was a little weird, but it works for me! Even though I can't hang out with my friends on Friday, at least I'll be able to talk with them about the movie afterwards. Plus, since I'm watching it on my laptop I can still do work! Talk about a win-win.

Totally Unfair!
Hello readers! September is here again and I'm psyched to start another year! Well, I was psyched, anyway. "Space Commander Xurk" comes out this weekend, but will I be able to go see it? Noooo. While everyone else in the academy will be out having a blast, I'll be stuck at the Academy finishing up a project Dr. Keen dumped on me. Whatever, I know I shouldn't complain. It's totally unfair, but I guess I'll just see it after I get my work done.
