Short Attention Span
Alexi seems to be struggling a little with staying on top of her training and her assistant position at the Databank. I really wanted the position, but I can understand why they gave it to Alexi. Plus, I wouldn't have been able to work with Betty and Jax on the cyber bullying forum if I'd taken it. But, I do hate to see Alexi looking so tired and distracted all the time.
I dropped by the Databank the other day and offered to keep her company while she worked. After seeing how she bounces from task to task, I think I May have an idea of how I can help her.

Academy Recycling
I've recruited Trey to help me with a little project I've been planning. One of my pet peeves is when I see someone throwing something recyclable in the trash, especially when it's just because there isn't a recycling bin right there, and they are being lazy. So with Commander Omni's permission, Trey and I are expanding the Academy's recycling program.
We'll be installing bins in each dorm room, as well as scattered across campus, so you'll never be too far from one. The central bins in the Cafeteria will be expanded to include some technotrash, like CDs, DVDs, batteries, and printer cartridges.
Also, once a semester, we'll do a big technotrash fundraiser and include the whole community so people can get rid of their old computers and devices safely, and we could even make a little money. The first one will be April 18th, and we're hoping to collect enough funds to cover a green party for Earth Day!

Vacation!
Guess what!! Erika gets to come with me on vacation this year, and we're going to the beach! I am sooooooooo excited for some sunshine and some quality time with my best gal.
I can't even describe how happy I am that Erika and I are friends again. Last year just didn't feel right without her around. I feel simply wretched about how much I ignored her last year because I was spending time with Alan. I got caught up in romance and totally left her behind - so not cool.
Well, not anymore! I still spend time with Alan, of course :P, but now I make sure to spend quality time with my other friends, too. I think he's okay with it, and he gets to play more MMOGs when I'm busy.

Girl's Night In
Friday before Spring Break, the boys are having a LAN party in the CyberPort. I might drop by for a game or two, but I'm not crazy about the games they picked out. Dana, Alexi, Yoko and I are thinking about having a slumber party in the Academy Lounge instead. Some chick flicks, a little Dance Dance Revolution, and lots of hot chocolate and cupcakes!
It'll be really nice to spend some time with my friends when we're not all stressed out from training. We have just one rule: no computers or PALs allowed! This party is about offline fun, the best kind!
