Thanksgiving Break
November 22, 2010 - Just a friendly reminder, cadets - the Academy will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week for Thanksgiving break. Regular classes will commence again on Monday.
Anyone unable to go home for the break is welcome to celebrate Thanksgiving with the Academy faculty and staff in the Cafeteria. Betty is planning a very special dessert surprise this year, something called a cherpumple?

A Very Special Time of Year
November 1, 2010 - Yes, I know it’s not Thanksgiving yet, but I’m so excited for it! Still, it’s not the only holiday that takes place in November. Here are a few others that you might be interested in observing!
- November 4th – Use Your Common Sense Day
- November 9th – National Young Reader’s Day
- November 15th – National Bundt Pan Day
- November 19th – National Play Day
And on a more serious note:
- November 2nd – Election Day
- November 11th – Veteran’s Day (for the U.S., but feel free to thank your veterans, too!)
- November 16th – International Day of Tolerance
So get out and celebrate every day. After all, it only comes around once a year!
