BEEEEEEES!!!
Well THIS is a great start to the semester! I went out into the garden to start planning what I'd plant and what did I see? Captain Wits was tearing up parts of the garden and building these weird boxes all over! I ran up to him and asked him what he was doing, and he said he was building beehives to get ready for the spring!
Now, I'm no chicken, but the thought of working in the garden with all those flying, stinging bees everywhere.ugh! It just gives me the creeps! I know it's good for the garden, but it's not good for me! Maybe I can talk him into moving them to a different part of campus.

How Many Teacups!
Too many teacups. To start off my year of good deeds, I thought I'd help Betty organize her teacup collection. It was.incredible. I mean, how does one person gather over 10,000 tea cups in one life time? More importantly, why would you ever want to gather that many tea cups?
I did the math - Betty could drink out of a new cup every day for over 27 years before having to reuse a teacup! That's unbelievable! I was helping her for nine hours before we both called it quits for the day. I guess I should just be glad that I could help someone. Still.that's waaaay too many teacups.
Wish me luck (and patience). I'm going to help her finish over the weekend.

Plantastic!
Alan, you totally hit a home run with this gift! Sure, I May have pricked my finger a dozen times trying to unwrap it, but it was soooooo worth it! Where on Earth did you find an Elephant's Foot Plant (besides Mexico)? Did you go to Mexico? No matter where it's from, it's mine now! Thanks!
This is shaping up to be a great year! I'm going to spend these snowy months planning the garden and working on making the Academy even more secure!

I'm Back!
I'm back and ready for action! I'm really glad I had winter break to relax and think about last semester. Now I can't wait to get to work! I think I'll start by patching things up with everyone. Maybe I'll see if I can help them in my spare time.
I think I'll start with Alexi. I know she's working with Jenny and Frankie, so I'm sure they could all use a hand. Wish me luck!
