Rebuke
I was talking about electronic packets. You know I don't condone the cutting down of trees.
Erika, how are the new students supposed to know when we sit down for meals or where morning meeting is if we don't tell them? Orientation should help the new students know what to do, not just entertain them.

Dana, what are you talking about? Orientation is about having fun and feeling like you're part of the school family! We need to give the new students a great time, not bore them with a tree's worth of paper.

Reducing Scope
What is orientation about? Getting the new students all the information they need in order to be successful in the school. We need to create packets of information so that the new students will have everything they need for their training. Rock bands and accessories can wait for another day.

Orientation Plans
After hearing Commander Omni's acceptance of our project, Dana and I have been working hard on our plans for orientation. I want to do something with a rock band and expressing creativity. Maybe we can have everyone create a new wallpaper for our bedrooms?

Secret Project Revealed!
So our secret project is not so secret anymore! Betty has asked us to help her plan the orientation that new cadets go through when they first arrive. Actually most of what we are going to do will take place on this page.
We want to provide a place where new cadets can find answers and catch up on important summer events they May end up missing. So keep your eyes peeled! This page is going to get very busy in the next couple of weeks.

Blog Operational
Finally figured out the permissions on this thing. Since the Academy is hosting it, Erika and I had one nasty time convincing the servers to let us co-own this blog space. But victory is ours (even if I did have to enlist Maya's help. Thank you, Maya!). We can't talk about our project yet, we have to see if the faculty will let us do it. But Betty's been complaining about orientation for a while now...
