Viva Mexico!
What a great Spring Break! My family and I went to see the Mayan and Aztec ruins in Mexico. It was so cool! I got to climb to the top of one of the pyramids and everything! Our tour guide said that if you were to look at the pyramids during the summer solstice, the shadow of the stairs looks like a snake climbing to the top! How cool is that?
I could totally see myself becoming an archaeologist. What a cool job that would be! Just think about it – exploring hidden temples, discovering long-lost secrets, solving ancient mysteries, disarming traps, fighting evil skeleton warriors…okay, Maybe the last two wouldn’t happen. Still, the rest of it sounds pretty amazing!
